The current health issues reflect on the population around the world and, demand an urgent and joint effort from the part of researchers, professors, managers and professionals of Public Health, either reflecting or acting/intervening. The present conjuncture imposes a search for answers to questions concerning democratic access to the existing systems and health care services (equity), as well as the humanization in the treatment of different groups according to their ethnic group, age, region of origin - in the case of immigrants -, and also the type of health condition - in the case of people with pathologies or special needs. The objective is to prevent the discrimination and the exclusion that might occur in various aspects of social life and health. Today more than never, there is an ethical imperative in progress to guarantee the right to health in a perspective of fare distribution and sanitary equity.
