Towards a Present Methodology on Social Determinants of Health in
Latin America

Summary:
According to an analysis of the model proposed by the Social Determinants
in Health Commission (WHO), and the progresses reached by the Knowledge
Network on Globalization as an academic platform beyond the support
to the scientific job of the Commission mentioned, the models will
be contrasted with the critical epidemiology ones and will be established
analyses categories and key operations. From research concrete data,
it will be explained a methodology to the analysis of the relation
between the economic accumulation model, adjustment polices, creation
of systems and routes of health deterioration, the construction
of ways of life and typical impact standards.

- Approaches on Social Determinants in Health: a critical review
- The Model of Accumulation by despoil and the Social Determinants
in Health in Latin America: the Critical Epidemiology Model
- Main dimensions of analysis, ways of determination and analytical
categories
- Ways of life, exhibition patterns, vulnerability and support to
classes that are generated by these conditions
- Impact patterns in health caused in this context.
