Summary:
As evaluation is a discipline that is gradually getting more importance
in the public health, it will be discussed the aspects related with
evaluation methods frequently used in an international level and
in this way, it will also be identified your contributions in identifying
the progress regarding the achievement of the Millennium Development
Goals (health related).
The workshop will especially emphasize the analysis of the characteristics
of the main study methods in evaluation research in health, making
precise their indications for application, advantages and disadvantages
regarding generating answers to investigative questions about the
progress and results of the implementation of public health programs.
The quantitative and qualitative methods will be analyzed, characterizing
the integration process results in both methods.
The research methodology will be based in theoretical discussions
and selected case studies.

in expand their knowledge and attest the evaluative methods in health
