Summary:
An introduction to basic theoretical-methodological questions in Public Health presenting it as a multidisciplinary field of human sciences, the principal strategies and techniques of investigation employed in the field, starting with the perspectives of the Social Sciences.
Objectives:
- To present and discuss the field of Public Health and the processes of knowledge production most utilized in the area.
- To present and discuss the pre-suppositions of qualitative research
- To present and discuss the main strategies and techniques of collection and interpretation of qualitative data used in health research.

Target Audience:
Managers, seniors and juniors researchers and academics.
